Congratulations on your engagement, we realize your special day is very important to you and you can rest assured your wedding will turn out exactly as planned. The Canadian has been hosting Ottawa weddings since 1980.  Our full time event planner will ensure "Your Day, Your Way".  We pride ourselves on making memories and realize just how important your day is and that is why years ago we pledged to our brides that we only host  one wedding reception per day!

You have the option of either our formal dining room, or our enclosed heated patio to host your Ottawa area wedding reception.  With the trend moving more and more to on-site ceremonies, the Canadian is pleased to offer our wedding couples the choice of three locations where they may exchange their vows. 

Our dining room is located on the second floor of our clubhouse and is tailor made for sit-down receptions up to 150 people. The cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace, natural light and private balcony,  provide you with a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for creating a memorable day.

Looking for an outdoor reception near Ottawa?

During the golf season our beautiful screened and heated patio marque tent offers a stunning setting for weddings up to 350 people. 

This area offers a covered area for the the perfect setting for your ceremony.

All the beauty of outdoors with the comfort of indoors.
 

Looking for an outside wedding ceremony?

We offer two  beautiful outdoor locations, the first a gazebo which is located only steps from the clubhouse,overlooking our beautiful golf course with true ease of access for your guests
 

For a more private setting we invite you to come and visit Tori's Garden, which is a a beautiful garden area with gazebo and pier on your own private pond  which is  located only 200 yards from the clubhouse. 
 

This beautiful garden offers the perfect
setting for the ceremony and pictures. 
Tori's Garden  is an easy walk from the clubhouse and transportation can be   provided for elderly guests. 

Don't worry about the weather !

We have you covered, In the event of liquid sunshine your wedding ceremony can be held in our patio marque tent
